She had distinctly heard that voice, though. Could it have been her imagination? She searched the area
thoroughly but found nothing. It seemed increasingly likely that it had all been in her mind.
Without staying much longer, Wendy left. Unbeknownst to her, a shadowy figure lingered in a concealed corner
not far from where she had been.
Suzy brought her father back to Hillside Villa. As soon as they stepped inside, he started shouting. "Where's
Charlotte? You said she'd be here. Where is she? Taketo her now!"
"She had something urgent to take care of and stepped out," Suzy said gently, trying to calm him. "Let's get you
cleaned up first. Then we'll have a nice dinner together. By the twe finish eating, she'll be back.

"Really?" For the first time, her father calmed down slightly. "Fine, then. Let's go. I'll take a bath and eat, and
then I'll wait for her like a good boy."
Relieved, Suzy quickly asked Allen to arrange for someone to help her father.
Allen frowned as he watched. “This isn't sustainable. We can't keep this up. Boss, I'll distract him later. You need
to prepare the antidote. He can't go on like this." Suzy's expression darkened. "He's been poisoned for so long.
I'm afraid it won't be that easy to cure him."
In the shadows, Dylan and Elliot had been silently observing the entire scene. Hearing Suzy's grim assessment,
both men exchanged worried looks. Neither of them had expected the situation to be this dire.

Dylan shook his head. "Suzy is the most talented miracle doctor in the world. If even she doesn't have a solution,
no one else will She's probably under immense pressure right now. The last thing we need to do is make things
worse by showing up. Let's stay out of sight for a while and give her space."
Elliot nodded, unusually agreeing without argument. "True. There's always someone better out there. We should
quietly look for another expert who might be able to help. Someone, somewhere, must know how to counter this
poison."
"Agreed," Dylan replied. "I'll have Desmond start searching immediately. You should get your team on it too. The
more people we have working on this, the better our chances."
"On it," Elliot said firmly.
Meanwhile, back at the villa, Suzy was doing her best to keep her father calm. After finishing his dinner, Timothy
started again, his agitation mounting. "Where's Charlotte? I've bathed, eaten, and waited so long. Why isn't she
back yet?"

With a hopeful gaze fixed on the door, he sat there, waiting for Charlotte's return.
But as the minutes dragged into hours with no sign of her, his patience wore thin. Frustration seeped into his
voice. "It's been so long. Why isn't she back yet?"
