Chapter 1170 Gifts and Talents
"I guess so," Jude replied with a smile. "But Colin, I'm doing this for your own good."
"And if | don't want it?"
"You have to."
"Your father is a business genius, your mother is an aplished woman, your sister was managing Lenoir Group at seventeen,
and your brother owns numerous luxurious enterprises across Europe and Adania."
"You were born into this family; you shouldn't waste your talents and gifts."
You have to. You were born into this family; you shouldn't waste your talents and gifts.
Sitting in the bar, Colin replayed Jude's words from the hospital over and over in his mind. He chuckled bitterly, grabbing a bottle
and starting to drink.
Talent, gifts.

He didn't think he had any talent for business.
Although he had recently be the president of the much-envied Gray Group, was he happy?
Not at all.
Did he have talent or gifts?
He didn't think so.
The only reason Gray Group hadn't gone bankrupt under his leadership was because of his twin brother, Damien.
Without Damien and his bringing in Lennon to help, Colin couldn't imagine what would have happened to Gray Group under his
management.
After all, Colin never believed he had any talent or gifts in business.
Yet, years ago, a fan who followed hisics online had once told him she thought he had a real gift for drawingics and urged
him to keep at it.
Due to the fans' encouragement, Colin managed to stick with creatingics for many years.
The fan had been following his work for seven to eight years. She said her life was dull, controlled by others, treated as a stand-in
for someone else, forced to learn to be someone she wasn't, and it was exhausting.
Hisics had brought joy to her life and helped her rediscover happiness.
That fan might not know it, but her words kept Colin drawing.
He gained many more fans years later but never found her again.
He wondered if she had grown up and lost interest inics or was too busy to read them anymore. But her past encouragement
and praise were something he could never et.
Thinking of this, Colin took another swig of the strong liquor.
How wonderful it would be if she were still around now.
How wonderful it would be if Lucy were here.
How wonderful it would be if Aunt Dorothy weren't in aa.

Then | wouldn't have all these thoughts with no one to share them with
"Well, isn't this Mr. Gray?"
Colin had barely finished his liquor when a clear, feminine voice cut through his haze.
He turned his head sluggishly.
A woman in a fiery red wrap dress and a black blazer stood by the bar, looking straight at him.
Next to her was a man in a suit, looking nervous. "Ms. Wool, is this your friend?"
"Sort of. We know each other," Mandy replied with a lazy nod. "If there's nothing else, you can head back. I'll chat with my friend
here."
The assistant frowned. "Ms. Wool, we should leave now that our business is done. We have no connections in Yatesville. You
shouldn't stay in a place like this... If you drink..."
The assistant hesitated before continuing, "It's one thing to break things at Tanner Residence when you're drunk, but here, we're
strangers..."
Mandy frowned and glared at him fiercely. "I told you to leave! Did | tell you to supervise my life?"
