They hit it off and wasted no tcalling Lucy.

"Hey there, eous. How about joining us for a drink?"

After a prolonged silence, Colin's helpless voice cthrough. "She's already knocked out cold."

Mandy was shocked, grabbing the phone and demanding, "Did you get Lulu wasted?"

Colin looked distressed. "I didn't get her drunk; she draggedout the moment she got home!"

Colin gazed at his flushed reflection in the mirror, sighing deeply. "Could you guyse over and look after her?"

"I'm feeling a bit woozy myself..."

They leaped out of bed and raced to Colin's house.

Gray Residence.

After calling Colin ten times without a response, Lennon finally drove to Colin's house.

The villa glowed with light as he knocked persistently on the door.

The door swung open just as he was on the verge of giving up.

The child timidly glanced up at Lennon. "Why are you here?" he asked, his voice small.

Lennon frowned, taking in the child's flushed face and panting breath before him. "Are you here alone?"

Alexis shook his head nervously. "No, Mom and... and Dad are both inside."

He emphasized "Dad" when mentioning Colin.

Lennon disagreed with Colin, but in the fragmented conversation about Mom drinking, he knew he had upset her once more.

Alexis looked up at Lennon with a cold stare.

He had made his mom sad so he could call another man "Dad!" He didn't deserve it!

Lennon's heart skipped a beat as Alexis skillfully uttered "Dad," piercing his emotions.

He knew deep down that Alexis was his son.

The word "Dad" should have been his own, too.

But...

Taking a deep breath, the man pushed aside the meaningless emotions.

There was no turning back now.

He lowered his head, peering down at the child who stood much shorter than him.

"Where are they?" he asked quietly.

"Here," Alexis replied tersely, stepping aside to let him pass.

Lennon frowned and walked in slowly.

On the sofa in the living room, Colin and Lucy lay side by side, their faces flushed and the scent of alcohol lingering in the air. It

was clear they had been drinking together.

Alexis gently covered them with a thin blanket, casually remarking, "Tonight, my mom and dad suddenly becthrilled. They

confessed to each other, cuddled for a long time, and then fell asleep together after drinking."

As he spoke, Alexis observed Lennon's reaction from the corner of his eye. "I'm not very strong, so | could only put them on the

sofa," he explained with a sigh. "Adults are such a hassle."

Lennon's forehead twitched with visible tension.

He frowned, studying the young boy before him. "You shouldn't call Colin 'Dad." It's not appropriate," he advised gently.

Alexis pursed his lips thoughtfully. "Should I call you Dad then?" he questioned.

e on, Mr. Lenoir," Alexis continued, using Lennon's last name. "You didn't marry my mom."

"But my dad married her in a proper ceremony, and they're legally husband and wife!"

With a blink, he challenged Lennon, "But Mr. Lenoir, what have you done for my mom? What role do you play in her life?"

Lennon squinted, longing to pick up the child and clarify that marrying Mom didn't automatically make someone Dad.
