Chapter 127 Granny Cursed ata Bastard
Griffon turned to Harry, who was eating. He then said, "Mrs. Marigold, can we talk for a moment?"
Afterward, the two went upstairs. Apparently, they didn't want Harry to hear them. He pursed his lips; he didn't
want to listen anyway! He immediately sent a message to Caspian.
Harry: [Enemies, Mommy and your evil grandmother are definitely enemies! Protect our Mommy!]
Reading the message, Caspian also felt worried. There must've been sgrudge between them before, and he
had to figure it out!
Mrs. Marigold and Griffon entered the 2nd floor study and closed the door. Mrs. Marigold spoke first, "I just found
out about Mrs. Nash. How's she doing now?"
"Up and down. Let nature take its course," Griffon said directly. "It's good that you care about her, but there's no
need to visit her. I'm afraid too many people visiting will make her anxious." "Okay."
"I chere today mainly to talk about the children. Initially, we said Caspian was Alaric and Orion's child so
that they could get married. But now that they've separated, there's no need for this lie anymore. After all, Orion
is an unmarried lady, and having such a big son wouldn't be good for her reputation."
"So are you suggesting that Orion clarifies this in the media?"
"Why not?" he replied. "She's a public figure; naturally, she should clarify it through the media. It's also better
that everyone has been saying that Caspian is Alaric and Orion's son. Although neither of the two have publicly
admitted it, clarifying it would be simple."
"Clarifying it may be simple for Orion, but wouldn't that be humiliating for us? You know how those media people

biological mother, then the media will start digging into his actual mother. If it eventually comes out that Caspian
is illegitimate, won't our Knight family becthe laughingstock?"
"Mrs. Marigold, you can't be so selfish."
Griffon was confident that nobody could find the doctor who had manipulated the DNA results back then. He also
believed this matter wouldn't be traced back to him, so he took the moral high ground to counter Mrs. Marigold.
Griffon said, "Even when Alaric and Orion were engaged, you went behind our backs to find other women to have
children with Alaric; we didn't say anything then. Later on, you insisted on keeping that illegitimate child, so
Orion had to reluctantly take over the mess you made. Our Nash family has already done more than enough for
your family. Now that Alaric and Orion are over, we can't keep dragging Orion down like this. | can't agree to
that!"
He was clearly angry, but Mrs. Marigold softened her attitude and said, "It was our family who mistreated Orion. |
know that, but after all these years, Alaric never doubted that Caspian was her child she birthed while he was
unconscious. I'm afraid he won't be able to accept it if | suddenly tell him, so givestime."
"Mrs. Marigold, | know you're afraid of Alaric's resentment and the truth affecting your mother-son relationship,
but it's still a well-intentioned lie. Moreover, blood is thicker than water; Alaric won't blyou." Griffon
explained. As Alaric's mother, how could she not know his temperament?
He had raised Caspian for so many years. If she told him Caspian wasn't his biological son now, he'd blher.
"You shouldn't have kept that child in the first place. Now, he's causing endless trouble," Griffon spoke sincerely.
He had gone through so much trouble to tamper with the DNA results. Mrs. Marigold could've easily discarded
the child like an illegitimate child, but she insisted on keeping him, and now he has becso troublesome! "It's
no use saying that now."
"Yes, it's no use," he continued, "Our family is currently facing numerous troubles. Orion has been betrayed by
the man she loved for so many years, and my wife has also been diagnosed with cancer. I'm truly exhausted. |
hope Mrs. Marigold can clarify this matter with Alaric as soon as possible. Otherwise, if Orion reveals it to the
media and he finds out that way, you'll be in a very difficult situation."
Hearing this, Mrs. Marigold cursed in her heart. However, she only smiled and replied, "I understand."
"Well, you can go ahead and deal with your matters. | need to go hand take care of my wife," Griffon said,
turning around and leaving the study.
Harry had already finished his meal. When he saw Griffon coming downstairs, he was still wondering whether to
politely call him "grandfather." However, Griffon gave him a disgusted look and quickly left.
Was that his grandfather? Could a real grandfather really do such things?
"Bastard!" he silently criticized Griffon, but unexpectedly, he faintly heard Mrs. Marigold say the sthing
harshly.
However, her voice was a bit low, so it wasn't that clear.
"Grandma, what did you just say?" Harry directly asked, "Did you say 'Bastard'? Who were you talking about?
Me? Are you getting confused, Grandma? I'm your grandson; if you calla bastard, aren't you calling yourself
one, as well?" Hearing this, Mrs. Marigold was infuriated and raised her hand to strike Harry, but luckily, he was
quick to dodge. Otherwise, he would've been hit badly.
"Grandma, why are you hitting people? Child abuse is against the law, and you're already so old. It wouldn't be

Mrs. Marigold fumed with anger as she harshly pointed at him. She had hateful eyes, but she only walked away
angrily.
After she left, he made a face at her back and then asked Aunt Lindsay in confusion, "Aunt Lindsay, did | do
something terribly wrong when | was young? Why does my grandmother dislikeso much?"
Nobody understood this, as they thought having an outstanding grandson like Caspian was something to be
proud of. Despite that, Mrs. Marigold still found fault with his every action.
"We don't know, but secretly speaking, we feel sorry about your grandma's behavior," Aunt Lindsay said.
"So, | didn't do anything wrong, right?"
"Young master Caspian, how could a child like you do anything wrong?"
Since he wasn't at fault, Harry decided not to complain.
He then called Alaric.
Seeing that it was Caspian calling, Alaric immediately answered.
"Hello, Dad," Harry sounded particularly upset.
"What's wrong, Caspian? Why are you upset?" Alaric asked anxiously, hearing his son's tone.
