Chapter 377
Chapter 377
As Olive’s words sunk in, the two girls exchanged a quick look. Elysia then smiled and took Olive’s arm. “Don’t
worry, Grandma“ the said playfully, “I'll make sure 1 get along with Lindsey
Olive patted Elysia’s hand gently before turning to look at Lindsey, Lindsey smiled back and assured her,
“Grandma, you don’t have to worry. Elysia is my cousin, and I'll take care of her?
Olive’s face softened as she heard their promises. Finally, she smiled, “Well, then | can relax”
She turned to Edward and said seriously, “Edward, starting today, I'm moving in with you. Is that okay with you?”
Edward's face lit up with a smile. “Mom, we'd be thrilled to have you! How could we say no?”
Quinita joined in, her voice warm and friendly. “Exactly, Mom. We've been wanting to ask you to move in for a
while, but just hadn't found the right time. Now that we've found the perfect place, you can settle in and make
yourself at home.”
Olive knew Edward and Quinita well. There was no need to ask-they’d never turn her away if she wanted to
move in.
Lindsey smiled and added, “I'll leave it to you both to take care of Grandma. Thanks, Edward and Quinita.”
Quinita chuckled softly, her voice gentle. “Oh, sweetie, don’t say that. It’s what we should be doing anyway?”
She then turned to Olive with a warm smile. “Mom, your room is just the way it used to be. The housekeepers
will clean it every day, and I'll have them change the sheets and bedding, so you can move in whenever you're
ready.”
“You're too kind, Quinita, Olive said, her eyes full of gratitude.
Quinita smiled brightly. “Mom, it's nothing. I'm just happy to have you here.”
Olive laughed softly, teasing, “You're just so sweet, aren't you?”
Her playful tone made it clear how much she cared for Quinita, and everyone could hear the affection in her
voice.
The room filled with laughter. Lindsey grinned and said, “It's because Quinita’s so happy to see Grandma.”
Just then, a cheerful male voice rang out from the door. “Elysia, I'm home!”
Holden's voice was full of excitement, but when he stepped inside and saw the group of people, he froze, clearly
shocked.

He knew Elysia was back, but no one had told him there'd be so many people here.
“Uh... is today sspecial occasion?” Holden asked, looking confused.
Edward gave him a side glance and smirked. “You little troublemaker, can’t you see your grandma's here?”
Only then did Holden notice the elderly woman sitting next to Elysia, her hair completely silver. He quickly
straightened up, his face turning serious, and bowed his head. “Grandma, what brings you here today?”
Yehoshua, with a knowing smile, spoke up. “Grandma's going to be living here from now on.”
Upon hearing this, Holden burst into laughter. “Really? That's awesome, Grandma! You should’ve moved in here
a lot
sooner!”
He grinned and then turned to Elysia, his face lighting up with excitement. “Elysia, I've got a gift for you this ve.”
“A gift?” Elysia asked, a little confused.

“Yep,” Holden said, walking toward her. He pulled a document out of his bag and handed it to her.
Elysia looked at the paper. It was a property contract for Stellar Estates in Sivro. “Holden, what's this?” she
asked, raising an eyebrow
“It’s a gift for you. | was going to handle the paperwork in Sivro, but since you're back, we can just do it
tomorrow,” Holden said, his tone full of excitement.
“But Holden, | already have a place to live,” Elysia said, still puzzled.
“It’s different. The place Fabian got you doesn’t count. This is my gift to you,” Holden said firmly.
Olive, watching the two of them, chuckled. “Since it’s Holden's gift, you should just take it, Elysia.”
Elysia felt a mix of emotions. She’d only gone to Sivro for school, and she had already had two properties.
Plus, with all the estates and villas she had in other places, it seemed like she wouldn't need to work again. She
could just sit back and collect rent for the rest of her life.
“If you don’t take it, I'll be really upset,” Holden said, his face full of exaggerated sadness.
Seeing his pitiful expression, Elysia sighed and nodded. “Okay, I'll take it. Thanks, Holden.”
Holden reached up and ruffled her hair. “Do you really need to be so polite with me?”
Elysia stuck out her tongue at him playfully but didn’t say anything.
Holden chuckled and gently tapped her on the head. Fabian and his brothers, watching the playful exchange,
couldn't help but feel envious. They wanted to mess around with Elysia, too.
Lindsey, with a smile on her lips, watched the playful moment between Elysia and Holden. For a brief second,
she was reminded of Evelyn, not by the look, but by the feel.
Evelyn had always been frail and sickly, her face pale. Maybe because of her condition, Evelyn never had the
energy to joke around or play like this.
After helping Olive settle in, Elysia stepped out onto the balcony. She pulled a cufflink from her pocket and
examined it carefully. Then, she took out her phone and dialed a number.
“Elysia, what made you think to calltoday?” A bold, teasing female voice cthrough the phone.
“Cynthia, I've got this cufflink here. Can you helpfigure out which designer made it?” Elysia asked.
“A cufflink? Sure, senda picture,” Cynthia said.
“Okay,” Elysia replied, and then she hung up the phone.
Cynthia was someone Elysia had met in Morgania. She was from Clusia and worked as a fashion designer, with
special expertise in cufflinks.
Not long after Elysia sent the picture, she got a reply from Cynthia. [Elysia, | just checked. This cufflink is a
custom men’s design by Barrett.]
When Elysia heard the nBarrett, her eyebrows shot up. She knew that nwell. Barrett was a big nin
Morgania, a designer famous for his unique style, and highly sought after by the rich.
His cufflinks were custom-made, rare in stores, and always limited-edition.
Elysia’s eyes narrowed as she studied the cufflink. Her fingers traced the smooth edges, but she couldn't shake
the feeling

that this was no ordinary piece of jewelry.
Is Evelyn trying to tellsomething with this cufflink? But what could she be trying to say? Elysia wondered.

She closed her eyes, thinking for a moment. Another thought crossed her mind. Maybe the cufflink belonged to
her father or one of her brothers.
Although she'd never seen them wear anything like it, she couldn't completely rule out the possibility.
Meeting Barrett and finding out who ordered the cufflink might give her the answers she needed.
With that thought in mind, Elysia quickly opened her eyes and typed a message on her phone. [Cynthia, can you
helpget in touch with him?]
Her phone buzzed less than three seconds later.
Cynthia: [I'll give it a try.]
Elysia: [Thanks.
After sending the message, she slipped her phone into her pocket and leaned her hands against the balcony
railing. Her gaze drifted over to the red house in the distance.
She really hoped she was wrong.
The thought of Evelyn possibly being forced into something-or worse, something even harder to accept-made
her stomach churn.
If that was the case, then no one but Evelyn knew the whole story.
Elysia stared down at the cufflink in her hand, almost as if she could see through it.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her. She quickly tucked the cufflink into her palm and straightened her
posture, preparing to speak. But before she could, she felt a hand rest on her shoulder.
“What's going on?” Lindsey asked, her voice full of concern.
Elysia met Lindsey's bright, curious eyes, then slowly shook her head. She turned her gaze back to the red house
she had been staring at, still lost in her thoughts. She stayed quiet, not ready to share what was really going on
in her mind.
This was something that she wasn’t ready to talk about just yet.
