Chapter 123 The Boy with Severed Limbs Half an hour later, in Leon's room, Tiffany was still sobbing.
Sophia handed her a tissue and then grabbed a cup of warm water for her.
As she glanced at Leon, unconscious on the bed, she realized she didn't feel as much animosity towards him anymore.
When she found out Leon had fallen into a coma while saving Flora, she thought that once he woke up, she wouldn't stand in the way of him and Tiffany being together.
"Tiffany, how's Flora doing?" Sophia asked, knowing the kids were asleep and not wanting to disturb them. She was more concerned about Flora's condition now.
"She was just scared and she's much better now. But Leon is still in a coma, I don't know when he'll wake up." Tiffany's mood was low, and her tone was tinged with sadness.
"The doctor said his body is fine, and waking up is just a matter of time. So don't worry, Tiffany. But what's going on with the Cooper Group? Has Ronald figured anything out?" Sophia tried to comfort Tiffany but couldn't help asking about the situation with the Cooper Group. She knew those people were opportunists, always ready to switch sides at the first sign of trouble.
With Leon in a coma and Ronald being elderly, Sophia understood that Tiffany must be worried. She wanted to see if she could offer her assistance.
"If you need anything, just letknow, Tiffany." Tiffany shook her head, speaking calmly. "Actually, I think this might be a good thing. It reveals speople's true intentions." She put down the water cup and continued, "They think that without Leon, the Cooper Group can't make any waves. So, they want to take advantage of his coma to go after the company. But they forget that the Cooper Group has grown step by step under Leon's leadership. The resources we have are substantial, and what they can take is just a small fraction, yet they think they've hit the jackpot." Tiffany added, "Right now, my main concern is that someone within the Cooper Group might be deliberately stirring up trouble among the employees. Grandpa toldthat there was sunrest among the shareholders today, with seven considering leaving the company. If this gets out, the rumors will spread and there'll be even more gossip." Sophia understood Tiffany's point. It all depended on the reliability of the shareholders now.

"I know," Tiffany replied. "Grandpa plans to visit the company tomorrow. With him there, things should be stable for now." After Tiffany finished speaking, Sophia nodded and rested her head on Tiffany's shoulder.
"I can't believe so much happened in just one day. I never thought Bronte would turn out to be such a lunatic, even targeting the kids." Sophia felt a surge of fury as she mentioned Bronte.
Tiffany's eyes darkened as she told Sophia about the mysterious person.
Sophia was shocked. "So, Bronte has someone behind him?" "That's what it seems like for now. But we still haven't figured out who that person is.
Even Leon couldn't find out, so it must be someone very cunning." Tiffany sighed, unsure if the current turmoil would reveal any clues about the mysterious person.
"Tiffany, don't worry. I'll have my friends look into it. With so many of us searching, we might find something soon." Sophia held Tiffany's hand, conveying a sense of strength. Tiffany's eyes grew determined, and she smiled in response. "Thank you, Sophia." Sophia looked at Tiffany seriously and said, "Tiffany, no need to be so polite. If someone is targeting you and the kids, I won't stand by and do nothing. That person is a monster! I won't rest until we find them!" Tiffany held Sophia's hand tightly, trusting in her abilities. After all, it was Sophia's people who had found a clue about her second child's whereabouts in Harmony City after he had been missing for so long.
Sophia stayed in the room, chatting with Tiffany until she finally fell asleep, feeling at ease.
Tiffany had been too tense to sleep before, but she relaxed in Sophia's presence and slept soundly. Sophia gently covered her with a blanket and quietly left the room.
Once outside, she immediately messaged her contacts to start investigating the mysterious person Tiffany had mentioned.
The next morning, Tiffany woke up to the sound of knocking on the door.

"Miss Grey, we need to change Mr. Cooper's medication." "Okay," Tiffany nodded.
As the nurse entered, she walked to the window and opened the curtains. Sunlight streamed in, warming her and washing away the fatigue from the previous day.
After freshening up, Tiffany checked her phone.
Sophia had sent a message after returning to the set last night.
Sophia: [Tiffany, I got back safely. Remember to rest well. Don't overwork yourself, or when Leon wakes up, he'll be worried about you.] Sophia: [Don't worry about the mysterious person. My people are already looking into it. I'll let you know if we find anything.] Sophia: [I'll be busy with filming for the next couple of days. Please tell Flora that I'll visit her once I'm done.] After reading the messages, Tiffany replied to each one.
Seeing that it was still early, she decided not to disturb the nurse and went downstairs to buy breakfast for the kids.
Tiffany took the elevator to the first floor. As she stepped out, she noticed a crowd gathered ahead, as if something had happened.
Curious, she walked over and heard people talking about a disabled person.
In the crowd, a young man with amputated legs was helplessly lying on the ground.

"How did such a young man end up with amputated legs? He looks so handsome, but those prosthetics are really shocking." "Just bad luck, I guess. It's a pity, but we should stay away." The crowd kept their distance, but their discussions continued, further hurting the young man's pride.
Tiffany couldn't stand it any longer.
and She pushed through the crewd knelt beside the young man, asking with concern, "Are you okay?" Hearing Tiffany's kind voice, the young man looked up and met her eyes, then quickly looked away, embarrassed.
Tiffany didn't mind. She smiled warmly and said, "Lethelp you." She picked up the fallen prosthetic and handed it to him.
He was surprised that someone in the crowd would genuinely help him.
Tiffany's eyes held no mockery, warming the young man's heart.
With her help, he reattached the prosthetic and pulled down his pant leg, able to walk normally again.
"Thank you," the young man looked at Tiffany gratefully. She was the first person not to mock him since his legs had been amputated.
"You're welcome. Just be more careful next time." Tiffany smiled at the young man, gently patting his shoulder.
As the crowd dispersed, Tiffany prepared to leave. But the young man called out to her introducing himself, "Ma'am, I'm Ulysses Warren. Nice to meet you."
Hearing his name, Tiffany smiled back. "I'm Tiffany Grey." With that, she walked away. Ulysses watched her leave, his expression slowly changing from that of a cheerful young man to something darker. He silently repeated her nin his mind. "Tiffany, you really surprised me." As he glanced around, his eyes lingered on those who had mocked him earlier, his gaze intense and unyielding.
