Chapter 155 Agreeing to Let Tiffany Participate in the Parent-Child Activity When Ralph heard the words "Global Nexus Corporation," his expression changed slightly.
He looked at Ulysses, a hint of doubt in his voice.
"Do you have sconnection with Global Nexus Corporation?" Global Nexus Corporation was a top-tier company abroad, comparable to the Cooper Group in Harmony City, perhaps even better. Over the years, no one had ever seen the registered owner of Global Nexus Corporation. Yet, the company continued to operate, managing countless projects. Many businesses were eager to collaborate with Global Nexus Corporation, but most were turned away.
The corporation selected its employees as elites. As the company put it, they never kept any dead weight. Over time, many people developed a negative opinion of Global Nexus Corporation, thinking it was too arrogant. However, there were still those who desperately wanted to join the company.
Ralph had once traveled abroad to gather information about Global Nexus Corporation but cback empty-handed. So, when Ulysses mentioned the company, Ralph was understandably shocked.
He asked Ulysses the question, already suspecting the answer. If Ulysses had no connection to Global Nexus Corporation, he wouldn't have brought it up now. Ralph was just waiting for Ulysses to confirm it.
Ulysses nodded and casually began to talk about his connection with Global Nexus Corporation.

He continued, "I found it strange at the time, wondering why they would help someone as insignificant as me. It wasn't until I returned to the country that they toldthe reason. They knew about my connection to the Cooper Family and wantedto cback and deal with Leon." With that, Ulysses made everything clear. Global Nexus Corporation also wanted to take down Leon. No wonder Ulysses was so confident; he had powerful backing.
But for sreason, Ralph felt a twinge of unease after hearing this.
Ulysses seemed to sense Ralph's thoughts and smiled before continuing.
"I know the people at Global Nexus Corporation are driven by profit. They valuenow because I am useful to them. But I don't care about the future. As long as I can drag Leon into this, I won't mind being discarded by them afterward." Ulysses had long understood this and willingly worked for Global Nexus Corporation. His only desire was to make Leon suffer the shardships he had endured.
Ralph didn't say anything more. After all, his relationship with Ulysses was purely based on mutual interest. If more trouble arose later, he would choose to end their cooperation.
Over the next two days, Leon underwent examinations at the hospital. Apart from smemory confusion, he had no other symptoms and was discharged.
Hugo personally drove Leon back to the Cooper Mansion. Hearing that Leon was home, the kids eagerly ran out of the living room to greet him.
Flora was the first to rush over, throwing herself into Leon's arms and cautiously studying his face. She was afraid that in Leon's current state, he might not love her as much.
"Daddy, are you okay?" Flora asked softly.
Leon knelt down, looking Flora in the eye, and held her small hand. His tone was as gentle as ever, his eyes full of affection.
"Daddy's fine, don't worry." Hearing this, Sam and Barry quietly stepped forward, standing on either side of Flora. "Daddy, there's a parent- child event at kindergarten tomorrow. We want Mommy to cwith us. Is that okay?" Sam asked quickly, seeing that Leon was in a good mood. But as soon as Sam finished speaking, Leon's face darkened, and he frowned deeply. The children grew more anxious, wondering if Leon was upset because they mentioned Tiffany. "Daddy, all the other kids have their parents with them. We want to be with both you and Mommy," Barry said, pretending to be sad. Sure enough, Leon's frown softened immediately.
"Alright," Leon conceded.
The children were secretly delighted, knowing this tactic always worked. Flora quickly kissed Leon on the cheek and said sweetly, "I knew Daddy was the best." "Let's go inside," Leon said, picking up Flora. Sam and Barry followed him into the living room with their short legs.
Ronald was making tea and, seeing Leon return, let out a cold snort. He was still angry with Leon. During Leon's two days in the hospital, Ronald had tried to persuade him countless times. But Leon was stubborn, refusing to let Tiffany cback to the Cooper Mansion. Ronald had talked himself hoarse and, in the end, decided to give Leon the silent treatment.
"Daddy, Great-Grandpa hasn't been. taking his medicine properly. Please don't argue with him, okay?" Flora wrapped her arms around Leon's neck and nuzzled his face. Ledn, Who doted on his daughter, couldn't refuse her. He sighed, put Flora down, and walked over to Ronald. He glanced at the untouched medicine on the coffee table. "Grandpa, no matter what, you can't neglect your health," Leon said sternly, handing the medicine to Ronald. But Ronald didn't take it, instead giving Leon a glare.

If that's the case, then letdie sooner," Ronald said, clearly trying to provoke Leone the kids, hearing this, were genuinely worried about Ronald. They quickly ran over, each grabbing one of Ronald's hands, while Flora threw herself into his arms. "Great-Grandpa, you won't die. You'll live a long, healthy life," Flora said, her voice full of concern.
Ronald, touched by the children's words, hugged them and looked at Leon.
"Don't worry, I'm fine. But speople want to driveto my grave.
They know I want to see the family reunited yet they insist on keeping Tiffany away. My poor great- grandchildren can't even see their mommy," Ronald said, his words dripping with sarcasm. Leon understood the implication. He couldn't fathom why his grandfather was so insistent on reuniting him with Tiffany, especially since they were already divorced. But he knew that if he didn't agree, Ronald would continue to make a fuss.
Leon rubbed his temples and softened his tone.
"Grandpa, I've already agreed to let Tiffany attend the parent-child event with the kids. That should be enough. If you still want her to cto the Cooper Mansion, then we'll just keep things as they are," Leon said.
Ronald snorted, taking the medicine from Leon and slowly swallowing it.
"Just don't regret it later," Ronald said.
Leon looked puzzled. He couldn't understand why his grandfather always warned him about regret. What was there to regret?
