Chapter 22 She Doesn't Deserve It When they got to the Cooper Mansion, Sam trailed behind Leon, still unsure if he should talk to him.
Leon was in a foul mood. If Sam started a conversation, would Leon lash out at him? Maybe he wouldn't get any answers and just end up getting punished.
After much thought, Sam mustered his courage and called out, "Daddy," determined to finally seek the truth about the divorce.
Leon was about to head into the study when he heard "Barry" calling him. He stopped and turned, looking puzzled.
"Daddy, I have a question." "Barry" nervously walked over and looked up at Leon.
"What is it?" Leon frowned, thinking "Barry" was going to ask about Tiffany again. Sure enough, "Barry's" next words were, "Daddy, you never want to talk about the divorce with Mommy. Why? Is it because you really don't like her and got tired of her?" This wasn't the first t"Barry" had asked this. Leon wasn't as angry as the first time, but he was still confused. Why did "Barry" always bring this up? "Barry, did you go see her again?" Leon asked directly, sounding pretty sure.
"Daddy, I..." Sam wanted to say no. He hadn't seen Tiffany in the past few days. It was Barry who was with Tiffany, while he stayed with Leon.
"Barry, Tiffany's a stranger now. Listen to me. She left you for another man, to have a child. How can she still be your mom?" Wait, what? When did Mommy have a child with someone else? She only had kids with Daddy, right? Sam's eyes widened, feeling something was off.

Sam, puzzled, retreated to his room. Despite pondering for a while, he couldn't unravel the confusion and eventually reached out to Barry.
Barry had just gotten to his room when he got Sam's call.
"Sam, what's up? Will Daddy find out if I take this call now?" Barry whispered.
"Barry, things are getting worse. Now Daddy thinks Mommy had a child with someone else. Do you know what's going on?" Sam sounded urgent.
Someone else's child? Barry thought for a moment. Recalling Flora meeting Daddy that night, Sam wondered if her presence had led to the misunderstanding. Maybe Daddy thought Flora was Mommy's child with someone else.
Barry quickly told Sam what he thought.
Sam sighed and patted his forehead. "Daddy is so dumb. How can he not see that Flora looks a bit like us? We're triplets!" "Daddy's got it all wrong now, and patching things up with Mommy won't be easy unless he learns the truth. But if he discovers Mommy kept the triplets a secret and they can't reconcile, will he split us up?" Barry was worried that if Leon found out, he would take all three of them away from Mommy. That's why Mommy had always hidden Sam and Flora's true identities.
"Barry, let's wait a bit. Let's put this aside for now. I'll try to find out more from Daddy. Maybe there will be a breakthrough." "Okay, I'll also ask Mommy when I get the chance." Meanwhile, Leon was in his study.
His phone showed an address for a nearby medical school that was hosting a lecture the next day.
The lecture featured the famous hypnotist Harper.
Harper was a big deal in the medical world, hard to pin down, and meeting her was all about timing. Leon had missed her last time.
But this time, the lecture details were out, so it seemed legit.
Leon put his phone down and told his secretary, Hugo Graves, to clear his schedule for the next day. He had to meet Harper.
The next morning, Tiffany headed to school early, with Sophia driving her.
"Tiffany, I won't be at your lecture. I have an ad shoot later, so I gotta go. If anything comes up, call me. I'm pretty free for the next little while," Sophia said, blowing a kiss to Tiffany.
After Sophia drove off, Tiffany walked into the school and made her way to the auditorium.
