Chapter 56 Secretly Taking Them Away The next morning, Tiffany cback to the ward with breakfast, only to find it empty. The kids were gone, and all their stuff was missing too.

Tiffany started to freak out. Did Leon really take the kids without telling her? She tried to calm herself down, thinking she might be overreacting.

Just then, a nurse walked by, and Tiffany quickly grabbed her. "Hey, can you tellwhere the kids who were in this room went?" "Someone checked them out about half an hour ago," the nurse said.

Tiffany's mind went blank, and she dropped the breakfast she was holding.

She knew Leon wanted to take the kids, but she didn't think he'd do it so soon. And he picked the exact moment she wasn't there! Tiffany clenched her fists and called Leon, but his phone was off.

"Damn it, Leon! You can't just take my kids!" She rushed out of the hospital and drove straight to the Cooper Mansion.

Meanwhile, Leon had already brought the kids back to the mansion.

It was Flora's first tthere, and everything felt strange. She rarely left Tiffany's side and was hiding behind Sam, scared.

Damon cdownstairs with a toy. He'd heard about Leon's three kids and had already set up two more rooms for them.

Seeing Sam and Barry together, Damon was surprised. He quickly cdown and said, "Sam, Flora, your rooms are right next to Barry's. If you need anything, just letknow." He glanced at Flora and was instantly charmed by her cuteness. He didn't expect Leon's daughter to be so adorable.

Leon turned to the kids. "Sam, Flora, this is your new hnow." Flora clung to Sam's clothes and looked at Leon. "Daddy, what about Mommy? Isn't she coming with us?" Leon walked over and hugged her. "Flora, isn't it nice living with Daddy?" Flora looked down, nervously picking at her fingers. "I want to live with both Daddy and Mommy... Can't we do that?" Leon sighed, understanding how attached they were to Tiffany. "Daddy will take good care of you." Flora didn't say anything, just looked at Sam and Barry for help. The brothers exchanged a look, already planning something.

Just as Leon finished showing them their rooms, Tiffany stormed into the living room. The kids' faces lit up, ready to run to her, but Leon's expression darkened. He grabbed Tiffany's wrist and pulled her outside.

The kids followed, peeking from the door.

In the yard, Tiffany yanked her arm free, her voice icy. "Leon, you're such a jerk!" Leon clenched his fists. "I told you I'd bring the kids back. If you hadn't hidden them from me, we would've been together a long tago!" "But did you even ask them? What gives you the right to decide for them?" Tiffany shot back.

Leon snorted and replied coldly, "No need. They'll understand I'm doing this for their future." Tiffany's face turned red with anger, but before she could say anything, the sound of high heels clicking interrupted them. Bronte appeared, her movements as affected as ever.

"Oh, Miss Grey is here too. Did I cat a bad time? Am I interrupting?" "No," Tiffany and Leon said in unison.

That one word made all three of them pause. Bronte felt uneasy, and Tiffany and Leon both looked away. Bronte knew she couldn't lose her cool in front of Leon, so she kept smiling and walked over to take his arm. The three kids, peeking from behind, widened their eyes, making exaggerated gossip faces.

"Miss Grey, you know I'm getting engaged to Leon. Did you cto congratulate us? It's a pity I haven't prepared the invitation yet. Next time, I'll personally give it to you," Bronte said, smiling gracefully, staking her claim in front of Tiffany.

"Congratulations to both of you. I'll definitely attend in person," Tiffany shot back, not missing a beat. Leon stayed silent. He wanted to pull his arm away from Bronte, but with Tiffany there, he was curious to see how she'd react.

Seeing her calm attitude, a surge of anger rose in Leon's heart. If Tiffany didn't care about his engagement to Bronte, then she shouldn't think about seeing the kids again! Seeing Leon's angry face, the kids got anxious. They wanted to bring Tiffany and Leon together! But now someone else wanted to be with Leon? No way! The three kids ran over hand in hand, and Flora squeezed herself between Bronte and Leon. Bronte had no choice but to let go, standing awkwardly to the side.

Barry asked innocently, "Daddy, if there's a stepmother, there will be a stepfather, and evil stepmothers will abuse children."

Sam nodded and added, "Daddy, Mommy is very gentle and speaks so nicely. But when Bronte talks, it sounds like she's choking a fly. How will she tell us stories in the future?"

Flora tugged at Leon's clothes, and as soon as she spoke, Leon's attention was all on her "Daddy, don't you like Mommy? Then how did you have us? But if you like Mommy, why are you getting engaged to another woman? I just want to live with Daddy and Mommy." The kids spoke one after another, all rejecting Bronte. Bronte's face grew increasingly strained, and she could barely keep her smile.

Tiffany touched her nose, holding back her laughter. Her kids were naturally on her side.

Leon coughed. In front of the kids, he couldn't directly defend Bronte. He hadn't mentioned the engagement, but he didn't seem to have any intention of canceling it either.

"Don't worry about this, be good," Leon coaxed them and had Damon take the kids back inside, beforem turning to Bronte. "The engagement will be discussed later. Miss Langley, Flora just got out of the hospital and needs my company. You should go back first." Leon gave Tiffany a deep look, his face darkening. "Tiffany, I won't let you take the kids away, so give up." "Leon!" Tiffany called out, but he went inside without looking back. Only she and Bronte were left in the yard. Tiffany knew being tough with Leon wouldn't work. She stared at his disappearing figure, then turned and left. It seemed she needed a new plan.
