Chapter 73 Tiffany Is Kidnapped Sam gave Barry a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "I think Daddy went to see Mommy." Sam was usually spot on with his guesses, but even he wasn't sure what Leon was up to this time.
After that parent-child event at the kindergarten, Sam noticed Leon and Tiffany acting all weird. And Leon had been super distracted lately. Was he starting to suspect Bronte? Could this mean the misunderstanding between Leon and Tiffany was finally going to get cleared up? "Sam, should we go help?" Barry asked, looking concerned.
Sam shook his head, grabbed Flora's hand, and started heading towards the backyard. "Nah, Barry. We just gotta trust Daddy." When Leon got to the studio, he burst through the office door in a hurry. He was a bundle of nerves now. The closer he got to the truth, the more he dreaded what Tiffany might say.
But Tiffany wasn't there. Instead, he found someone he didn't expect-Ralph.
As Leon barged in, Ralph was just coming out. Leon's face turned icy. "What are you doing here?" "Mr. Cooper, looks like you're here to see Tiffany too," Ralph said, looking a bit worried.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtLeon clenched his fists and grabbed Ralph by the collar, lowering his voice. "Tiffany? You call her by her first name? What are you doing here? Get out of my way!" Leon shoved Ralph aside, trying to find Tiffany, but Ralph blocked him, his tone serious. "Mr. Cooper, Tiffany's not here. She might be in trouble." "In trouble? What do you mean?" Leon glared at him, unsure whether to believe him or not.
"It's Miguel..." Ralph started explaining what he had heard.
Leon's face darkened, anger flashing in his eyes. Before Ralph could react, Leon punched him in the nose. He grabbed Ralph's collar tightly, staring at his bleeding face, and roared, "If anything happens to Tiffany, I'll make sure the Larson Corporation pays!" With that, Leon stormed out of the studio, dialing Tiffany's number again. But her phone was still off Damn it! Where could she he? Leon frowned, thinking of the place Tiffany had moved to, and drove to the villa. Ralph tailed behind him. Meanwhile, Tiffany had just finished her design draft. She stretched and rubbed her neck and shoulders, then picked up her phone to check the time, only to find it was off. She got up to get the charger from the living room when she heard a knock on the villa door. She was puzzled. Who would cto see her at this hour? Not many people knew she lived here, and they were all close friends, so Tiffany didn't think much of it and went to open the door. But as soon as she stepped out, before she could see who the group of people were, she was hit on the back of the neck and blacked out.
When Leon and Ralph arrived in a hurry, the villa door was wide open, but there was no sign of Tiffany. They rushed into the living room, where a half-drunk cup of coffee sat on the coffee table.
Ralph frowned and punched the sofa, his voice filled with anger. "We're too late." Leon suppressed his anger, glaring at Ralph, and growled, "You better pray Tiffany is okay!" He walked to the door, looking around, and spotted a hidden camera in the corner. It looked like the person who snatched Tiffany didn't spot the camera, so they felt bold enough to show up at the door, thinking they wouldn't get caught.
Leon didn't waste any time. He got in touch with the guy in charge of the surveillance footage and found the part where Tiffany was taken.
Leon recognized the leader of Tiffany's kidnappers right away it was a local thug named Damian Green.

Leon had sent Damian to the police station before, so Damian was probably scared of him. But since his release, Damian had been laying low, avoiding the Cooper Family. Now, he had the nerve to kidnap Tiffany. Was he asking for trouble? Leon's eyes darkened, and he called Hugo. "Find Damian's location." Hugo quickly sent Damian's exact location to Leon's phone. With the address in hand, Leon sped off, and Ralph was right on his tail.
At the North District Warehouse, Tiffany woke up to a blast of cold wind. She looked around. It was an unfinished building with no cameras. Sitting in front of her was Damian. Behind him were a few of his goons, holding iron rods and glaring at her. Tiffany's hands and feet were tied, and she couldn't break free. "Who are you? What do you want?" She scanned them warily, trying to think of a way to get help.
Damian grinned, walked up to her, squatted down, and grabbed her chin, leering at her. "You're quite a looker, but you pissed off the wrong person. I'm just here to teach you a lesson. I don't want to mess up that pretty face. If you can please us, maybe we'll go easy on you." Damian waved his hand, and his men approached with iron rods, their eyes gleaming with excitement.
Tiffany shrank in her seat, her heartbeat echoing in her ears like the relentless ticking of a clock as she looked at them. Had she inadvertently angered someone since her return? Her mind raced through a catalog of potential grievances, but none seemed severe enough to warrant this.

Tiffany had merely intended to keep Bronte off her own orbit, using an old secret from five years ago as leverage. What had begun as a simple warning should never have escalated to this. The last thing she had anticipated was that Bronte would react with such fervent vindictiveness, resorting to the extrmeasure of having her kidnapped. Since Bronte was so scared of her revealing the past to Leon, Tiffany wouldn't let Bronte off the hook. Once Tiffany was safely out of here, she would make sure Bronte's plans never succeeded. Seeing Tiffany in a daze, Damian thought she was scared stiff and grinned wickedly. "Pretty lady, why don't you give in toand servewell? I promise I won't be too rough."
Damian's eyes roved over her, greedily taking in her beauty and striking figure. His lustful naturem forefron surged to the forefront. Who wouldn't harbor dirty thoughts when faced with such allure? He couldn't have been the only one tempted to exploit the situation to his advantage. Tiffany's mind raced, formulating a desperate plan. She would pretend to agree with Damian, biding her tuntil the moment cto escape. She needed him to drop his guard.
Adopting a tearful, pleading expression, she made sure her red eyes captivated him. Seeing Tiffany's feigned vulnerability, Damian was mesmerized.
"If you answer one question for me," Tiffany murmured, her voice trembling just enough to elicit sympathy, "I'll do whatever you want." Damian's curiosity and desire flared. "Go ahead." Biting her lip, Tiffany asked pitifully, "Just letknow-who wants to harm me?"
Damian didn't mind telling her that; he knew Tiffany wouldn't dare to mess with the Larson Corporation again. "I can only tellyou that someone from the Larson Corporation wants to deal with you. I didn't expect such a pretty woman to have offended the Larson Corporation." With a smug look, Damian leaned closer. "I've told you. Can you satisfynow? You better makefeel good."
