Chapter 74 Leon Found Tiffany Damian, unable to contain himself, lunged at Tiffany, pinning her to the ground, his mouth descending hungrily toward hers. Behind him, his crew egged him on, their cheers providing a sick soundtrack to the scene.

Tiffany shut her eyes in disgust, gathering her resolve. She wasn't about to let Damian take advantage of her that easily.

While dodging his advances, she tried to reason with him. "Look, I can't run now. Even if you don't tieup, there's no way I can handle all these guys. If you really want to have a good time, you gotta untie me. Otherwise, how can I make you feel any good?" Her voice was sweet and tantalizing, and her eyes gleamed with a bewitching charm. Damian, spellbound, immediately nodded in agreement. He hastily worked at the knots, freeing her hands. As he leaned in again, grabbing desperately at her clothes, his mind clouded with lust.

Tiffany's demeanor shifted. Her eyes turned icy, and with deft fingers, she pulled her self-defense knife from her pants pocket. As Damian moved to tear her clothes, she took her chance. With a swift, decisive movement, she plunged the knife into his shoulder.

"Ah!" Damian shouted, letting go of Tiffany. "You bitch! How dare you attack me! Guys, get her! Beat her until she submits!" Damian was furious, clutching his injured shoulder, his anger boiling over. His crew got the order and immediately moved to attack Tiffany.

Tiffany found an opening, kicked Damian away, and ran towards an open area. The crew chased after her, and Tiffany ran for her life.

This was a large stocking area, surrounded by deserted warehouses that were once used to store supplies and equipment. Tiffany found a large warehouse to hide in, waiting for an opportunity to escape.

Fortune seemed to favor her amidst the labyrinthine storage, shadows offering brief respite. Each close call with Damian's crew forced her to shift hiding spots, a relentless gof cat and mouse. Nearly half an hour had passed, yet she remained unscathed, unseen.

Damian's face was red with anger. He couldn't believe he couldn't catch a woman! "You guys check over there. When we find that woman, I won't let her go!" Another ten minutes passed. Due to her nervousness, Tiffany was highly focused, but now she was physically exhausted, breathing heavily as she walked, with cold sweat dripping from her forehead and soaking her back. She tightly clutched the hem of her clothes, looking around, still unable to find any escape route.

Just as Tiffany felt helpless, she saw figures ahead again. Damian and his men had found their way here, but she didn't know where to hide! They were using iron rods to knock on every door of the warehouse, the heavy sound seemingly a warning to Tiffany that if she didn't cout, she was done for! Suddenly, a pair of large hands grabbed Tiffany's arm, yanking her into a concealed corner piled high with dusty crates and forgotten goods. She whirled around, about to scream, but a hand quickly muffled her cry. Her eyes went wide with disbelief as she discerned the face before her-Leon.

She blinked, certain she must be hallucinating, and pinched her thigh hard. The sharp sting confirmed it-Leon was real, impossibly standing right here. But how? Tiffany's mouth opened to question him, but Leon swiftly pressed a finger to his lips, urging silence. She nodded, suppressing her words. They waited, tense, until the sounds of pursuit faded into the distance. Leon exhaled deeply, the tension momentarily easing.

"Leon, why are you here?" Tiffany finally whispered, her voice barely audible.

"I went to the stuto find you," he replied, glancing around to ensure they were still alone. "Ralph mentioned you could be in trouble. When I discovered in the surveillance that Damian had taken you, I had Hugo located his position, and here I am." The revelation left Tiffany momentarily speechless. She hadn't anticipated such dedication from Leon, nor the depths of his worry.

"Are you hurt?" His concern intensified when he noticed bloodstains near her sleeve.

Tiffany followed his gaze and then shook her head with a soft chuckle. "No, it's not mine. It's Damian's. In the struggle, I got son me." For sreason, Leon's presence made her feel less nervous. With him by her side, she felt a surprising sense of security.

Then, the thought of relying on Leon startled her. How could she be so dependent on him? Her newfound calmness didn't escape Leon. He frowned, curiosity surging in his heart. "Tiffany, this is a kidnapping. Aren't you scared?" "What's the point of being scared?" Tiffany responded, her eyes avoiding his. "Will fear make the kidnappers letgo? If it won't, then there's no need for it. As long as there's a glimmer of hope, I'll find a way to escape." Although she just had a narrow escape, Tiffany was being honest. If Leon hadn't come, she would keep on finding an exit by herself anyway. She wouldn't let her life end in their hands.

Now, she had learned from Damian that it was the Larson Corporation targeting her, which confirmed that Bronte was behind it-Bronte and Miguel's conversation that day in the coffee shop was still fresh in her mind. Otherwise, as someone who had just finalized a successful collaboration with the company, what reason would they have to target her? In other words, Bronte must have agreed to Miguel's terms to keep her from revealing that secret.

Tiffany thought about Miguel targeting the Cooper group. Should she tell Leon about this? She was silent for a moment. When she looked up at Leon, she found him staring at her, making her feel uncomfortable and uneasy. She quietly moved aside.

Leon had been acting strange lately. His gaze always seemed to be fixed on her. Had Leon discoveredm something? Every tTiffany was under his gaze, she felt guilty. "Tiffany, is there something you're not telling me?" Leon asked coldly. Tiffany touched her nose and replied without thinking, "No, I've said everything I needed to say. But there's one thing. I don't know if you'll believe me." Leon frowned and asked, "What is it?" Tiffany lowered her voice and said, "It's about Bronte." "What do you want to say?" Leon asked coldly, his eyes intense.

Tiffany kept her head down, not daring to meet his gaze. "If I told you that this kidnapping was orchestrated by Bronte, would you believe me?" Leon was silent, not giving an answer.

Tiffany knew that in Leon's heart, there was no room for anyone else besides the woman from five years ago if he knew that Bronte had taken that woman's place, what would he do? Forgave her? Or broke up with her?
