Chapter 92 It's Tough to Remarry Tiffany Leon cleared his throat, looking a bit embarrassed, and didn't argue with Tiffany.

They stood there in awkward silence for a moment before Leon finally spoke up. "Need a ride back?" Tiffany quickly pulled her car keys from her bag and waved them at him. "I drove, Mr. Cooper." Her message was clear; she didn't need his help.

Leon's words got stuck in his throat, leaving him speechless. Tiffany walked past him, got into her car, and drove off.

Leon stood there for a while, feeling bitter. Tiffany's recent brush-off reminded him of something that happened before their divorce.

Back then, Tiffany had to attend a seminar in a rural area, but the place was so remote that there were hardly any vehicles. Worried about getting back home, she thought about asking the family driver, but he was on leave that day. After much hesitation, she went to Leon, hoping he could drive her.

When Tiffany asked, Leon turned her down flat. He thought she was being tic. She could've taken a cab, but she asked for his help just to get his attention.

After being mocked by Leon, Tiffany didn't want to embarrass herself further. She packed her things and went to the roadside to hail a cab.

Later, Leon saw Tiffany again at the police station. Turned out, after the seminar, Tiffany couldn't find a ride. She thought about calling Leon but remembered his coldness that morning and decided to walk a long way alone.

Eventually, she saw a car by the roadside. But after getting in, she realized it was an illegal vehicle without proper credentials. Luckily, Tiffany was quick-witted and managed to escape from the car, avoiding harm from the two thugs. She ran while calling the police and found a safe place to hide. It wasn't until the police arrived that Tiffany was out of danger.

At the police station, Tiffany called Leon first, but he hung up on her. In the end, Leon got a call from the police, asking him to pick her up.

On their way back, Leon didn't say a word, not even a single word of concern, and kept a cold expression. When they got home, Tiffany silently went back to her bedroom. That night, she had countless nightmares, waking up in cold sweat, and ended up crying softly under the covers.

From that day forward, Tiffany resolved to gain independence. She signed up for driving lessons and was determined to get her driver's license.

As Leon's mind drifted back to those memories, a tightness clenched his chest. Reflecting on the past, he began to fathom the depth of Tiffany's suffering and the extent of his own insensitivity. Now, just a small rejection from Tiffany, and he couldn't take it. How did Tiffany manage to endure those years of marriage? Leon had no answer and didn't dare to think about it. He drove to the office in a daze.

When Tiffany returned to the villa and opened the door, she saw Ralph rushing over. He was panting heavily, with a worried expression on his face. "Tiffany, I heard something happened at your studio, and even the offline store was vandalized. Are you hurt?" As he spoke, Ralph wanted to check on her. Tiffany awkwardly avoided his stretched-out hand, rubbed her nose, and spoke unnaturally. "I'm fine, Ralph. Apart from sdamaged items, it hasn't affected my work. I've already asked people to clean up the studio, so there's no major issue." Hearing this, Ralph felt relieved and stared at her, hesitating to speak. "Um... Tiffany, are you free today?" "What's up?" Tiffany looked at him questioningly.

"I saw a new movie is out recently. Do you want to go watch it?" Ralph blushed after saying this and awkwardly scratched the back of his neck.

Tiffany wanted to relax, so she agreed to his invitation, and they immediately headed to the cinema.

Meanwhile, at the office, Leon couldn't stop staring at his phone, looking at his chat with Tiffany. He wanted to send her a message to check on her, but half an hour passed, and he kept typing and deleting, hesitating for a long twithout sending a single word.

Hugo and Grant had been in and out of the office several times, each visit revealing a more discomposed Leon. Having never seen this side of their boss, they hovered near the doorway, exchanging hushed whispers.

Ever since that engagement party fell through, he hasn't been himself," Grant muttered, casting a cautious glance into Leon's office.

Grant leaned against the door, trying to peek inside, but Hugo pulled him back forcefully. "Be careful, or Mr. Cooper will dock your bonus again. We all know now the woman Mr. Cooper has been looking for turns out to be his ex. He's probably thinking about how to win her back." Hugo sighed, thinking the world was full of coincidences. Who would have thought that after all this time, it would still be Tiffany? Leon must regret it a lot.

Grant, however, commented, "Mr. Cooper wants to make amends, but I think it's going to be tough." Hugo was shocked. Was it his place to say that? Grant mentioned the incident in the design department last time. Leon's attitude was so harsh that he wanted to kick Tiffany out. Now he wanted to make amends? The change was so drastic that it would be hard for anyone to accept.

"Shut up, aren't you afraid Mr. Cooper will hear you?" Hugo made a shushing gesture, and just as he was about to leave with Grant, Leon's voice cfrom the office.

"Have you gossiped enough? Get in here!" Leon spoke with a hint of anger, and both of them stiffened in fear. They thought Leon's attention was on his phone and wouldn't notice their sneaky behavior.

Hugo silently opened the door and pulled Grant in with him. "Mr. Cooper, is there any work you need us to handle?" Leon looked up, his eyes cold. He pointed at Grant and beckoned him over.

Grant swallowed hard, not daring to move. Behind him, Hugo quietly extended his hand and pushed him forward.

Leon gazed at Grant with a look full of resentment. "You said it's tough forto win back Tiffany? Why don't you explain it?" Hearing Leon's question, Grant was on the verge of tears. How could he have known that his casual remark would be taken seriously by Leon? "Mr. Cooper, I was just talking nonsense." "If you still want your docked bonus, you'd better speak up." Leon tapped his fingers on the desk, his tone calm.

Grant closed his eyes. He wouldn't go against his bonus, so he decided to go all out!

"Because you were too harsh on Miss Grey before, and the things you said were particularly hurtful. Any girl treated like that by Someone sm she likes would hold a grudge. It's impossible to accept your change of heart immediately, and there's a fear of repeating the smistakes. So, given Miss Grey's personality, she wouldn't easily agree to remarry you!" After saying this, Grant silently prayed. 'It's over, it's over! Mr. Cooper is definitely going to be angry.'

Hugo behind him was also praying for him. But they seemed to have miscalculated. This time, Leon didn't get angry. He was silent for several minutes. He seemed to be trying to understand what Grant had said. Remarrying him would be repeating the smistakes? So Tiffany was afraid he would treat her coldly like before.

"If I can let her know I am a different person now, would she agree to remarry?" Leon seemed to have figured it out and asked another surprising question.

Grant and Hugo exchanged a silent glance, not expecting Leon to be so serious about winning back his wife. Grant immediately responded, "Yes, I think Miss Grey would agree."
